Since Emmy came into her partner Diana's life, she has given her more independence from seizures. In addition to being able to predict when a seizure is coming on, Emmy helps keep Diana safe during epileptic episodes. Emmy's enthusiasm and loving attitude always keeps her family's spirit high.
The Canine Assistants program trains and provides service dogs for those who have physical disabilities, seizure conditions or other special needs. Thanks to support from Milk-Bone®, Canine Assistants has placed more than 2,000 hero dogs with individuals across the U.S.
